 DROP-IN CENTER
The Drop-in Centre is open Monday to Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. On Saturday we open from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. A hot lunch is available in our dining room from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. each weekday. On Saturday we serve between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm. People can also take these meals home. Lunch is a stress free way for us to meet and interact with our clients whose problems we attempt to evaluate in order to help them.

 SATURDAY LUNCH
Every Saturday, except the first Saturday of each month, we have a free meal from noon to one thirty for homeless and needy people, happy times to not only enjoy a meal but to enjoy the company of others in a relaxed setting. Restaurant La Tulipe Noire and Restaurant Tavern Magnan prepare food once a month which is served by our volunteers.

 SATURDAY SUPPER
On the last Saturday of each month, the Drop-In Centre once again opens its doors to the needy. For the Mission of the Great Shepherd it is a chance for a fun social gathering. We encourage our diners to converse with one another, to share their lives, and to get to know their neighbours. It is important for people not to feel isolated, and this is one way we try to generate some community togetherness. We seat approximately 150 people at each dinner.

 FOOD BANK
Although we serve hot meals every day, this is not enough for many of the people in need. Therefore, the Mission of the Great Shepherd also operates a food bank on Tuesday afternoons. This service helps an average of 1500 people each month.

 COMPUTER ROOM
Our computer room, open 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., is used mainly as an educational tool. We serve school aged children, the unemployed, social assistance recipients, and the elderly. Computers are critically important in society. We are here to help those who cannot afford their own to learn and to succeed. Users can learn basic skills such as word processing, and how to use the Internet. For accessing the job market, it gives our clients the opportunity to learn how to prepare a CV, and then a chance to search for work, and submit their CV electronically. Knowledgeable supervisors are available to assist users in their endeavors.
